This will capture the entire screen of your running application on MAC OS X. If you want to take full-screen screenshots you can use this feature.

  1. Go the App you want to take the screenshots.
  2. Now hit the COMMAND+SHIFT+3 Key combination simultaneously.
  3. After taking the screenshot you will hear a camera sound.
  4. The screenshot will be saved to your MAC OS X automatically in PNG format.

Capture Custom Specific Area of MAC OS Screen:

This feature will allow you to take the screenshot of the custom screen you will set. Like, you have to select a specific area then it will capture the screenshot of the area you selected.

  1. Open the App you want to take screenshots.
  2. Now hit COMMAND+SHIFT+4 keys at the same time.
  3. Now select the area you want to take off a screenshot of, using the crosshair.
  4. After selecting an area, then release the mouse cursor.

  1. Open the App you want to take screenshots.
  2. Now hit COMMAND+SHIFT+4 keys at the same time.
  3. Now your cursor turns into crosshairs, Press SPACEBAR and the cursor will be seen in Camera.
  4. You just need to place the camera icon on the window of the app you want to capture.

Copy the Screenshot To MAC OS Clipboard:

This feature is needed when you want to copy the screenshot image and send it to someone or copy to any other location. You can send this copied clipboard screenshot to Facebook, or Mail it just by copying and pasting it.

  1. Hit the COMMAND+SHIFT+CONTROL+3 Simultaneously. This will copy the whole screen to your clipboard.
  2. Now hit COMMAND+SHIFT+4 keys at the same time. Now your cursor turns into crosshairs, Press SPACEBAR for taking specific windows/app screen.
  3. OR Now hit COMMAND+SHIFT+4 keys at the same time. Now select the area you want to take off a screenshot of, using the crosshair. for getting screenshot of full MAC OS screen.
  4. Now go to Document or your mail or Facebook message box and press CTRL+V to paste the screenshot.
