The Huawei Honor 7X Full Review (After A Week Usage)

Here is the newly launched successor of Honor 6X the Huawei Honor 7X. It is launched a month ago and the questions like is it best? is it has a best camera? all these questions will be answered in this post. Also, I used MI A1 and Honor 7X I will tell you my opinions and which was good for me comparatively. So let’s start with the specifications of Honor 7X and then we will head towards the Honor 7X full review.

About Honor 7X:

Huawei Honor 7X has the modern 18:9 display which looks very good. This gives 7X an upper hand as compared to other competitors. It runs on its official Kirin 650 processor which is really a battery efficient processor. 7X comes with 4GB of RAM and with EMUI 5.1 which is based on Android Nougat. Honor promised to give Oreo update in January and February month. It is missing with gyroscope sensor but all other sensors are available. Huawei Honor 7X is packed with the dual rear camera of 13+2MP and front 8MP camera.

Detailed Review:

Display:

Honor 7X  has beautiful display of 5.99inches with 18:9 aspect ratio. The display crisp and clear. Even in the sunlight the display is visible. The auto brightness sensor works very well. I was really concerned about the screen quality but this smartphone didn’t skipped a little bit on the screen quality. Talking about its competitors like MI A1 and Moto G5S+ Honor 7X beats them all. Obviously the 18:9 aspect ratio display will work very well.

Battery And Performance:

It has 3300mAh battery capacity. I thought the battery backup is gonna bad but surprisingly the battery backup is really good. I was using GPS and hotspot all day. It will give best standby time. As the Screen on time is concerned it will give 5-6 hours from 100 to 0 percent.  Considering the performance the Kirin 659 chipset is battery efficient chip. Still it handles the medium graphics games pretty well. It was somewhat lagged on Asphalt 8 with high graphics settings. Also, 7X does not support any fast charging. For full charge it will take around 2.5-3 Hours.

EDIT 1:

AFTER THE LATEST UPDATE OF BND-AL10C675B141 the GYROSCOPE SENSOR IS NOW ACTIVATED!!

Camera Performance:

The 7X was mainly focused on camera, I was really curious to test out its camera. It has stock camera app of EMUI which has different camera mods like moving picture, Portrait mode, Book-eh effect etc. Portrait mode in daylight is slightly lower than MI A1. But in low light conditions 7X steals the show. Also, front cam is pretty good but also it gives blurry images in low light conditions. But overall 7X has better camera capabilities.

Samples:

Other functions like sound output is good as required. The call volume is also pretty decent. Below are some FAQ about the phone.
